Tim Nilson '96 - Chief Technology Officer of Sony
Tim Nilson is a key executive in Sony Music's initiative to market and commercialize the company's artists via online and mobile applications, services, and storefronts. Nilson is responsible for the technical strategy and operational execution of Sony Music's consumer facing technology assets and services including over 200 official artist web sites. Nilson has developed the company's direct to consumer ecommerce platform "M2" that currently powers over 180 online artist stores that generate sales of digital and physical products to over 60 countries in multiple languages. Nilson joined Berklee's board of trustees in spring 2012.

Jason Stone - Senior Vice President of Live Nation
Jason Stone is the senior vice president and regional director of clubs and theaters for Live Nation in New York. Prior to his involvement withe Live Nation, Stone served as executive vice president for Music Fair Group, Inc., which owned and operated eight concert venues. During his 35-year career, Stone has functioned in almost every aspect of the live entertainment industry and functions as a regular speaker at industry events.
Neil Gillis - President of Round Hill Publishing (founded by alumnus Josh Gruss '96)
Neil Gillis is currently the president of Round Hill Music, a new full service music publisher and creative music company. Prior to his role with Round Hill Music, Gillis was the president, North America and global head creative for S1 Songs America. Gillis is a board member of the BMI Foundation,the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA), Johnny Mercer Foundation, and member of BMI, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and Musicians Union Local 802. He is also a former board member of the New York Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP).
Meghan Stabile '06 - CEO/Founder of Revive Music Group and Consultant at Blue Note Records
Meghan Stabile is president and CEO of Revive Music Group, a boutique music agency supporting live productions, and founding partner and creative director of The Revivalist, a leading online journal on the jazz community. In 2011, she began consulting for Blue Note Records on the development of their new website, bluenote.com, and A&R for special projects. Her most notable and recent project was The Roy Ayers Tribute featuring Pete Rock, Stefon Harris, and the Robert Glasper Experiment, which has toured internationally.
Dan Pelson - Executive Vice President Direct to Consumer, Global Digital Business for Sony Music Entertainment
Dan Pelson is an Internet and media entrepreneur who is a recognized pioneer in developing innovative digital business models. Pelson manages the company's consumer touch point, which includes websites reaching over 25 million fans each month, and social network pages that have over 500 million "friends" of Sony artists. Prior to joining Sony Music, Pelson was the Founder and CEO of uPlayMe, Inc., a company that enables consumers to create social networks based on the digital entertainment they consume.

Don Gorder - Chair, Music Business/Management
Chair and founder of the Music Business/Management Department at Berklee College of Music, Gorder is an attorney, educator, and musician. He holds advanced degrees in law and music (B.M. University of Nebraska, M.M. University of Miami, J.D. University of Denver), has authored numerous articles on the music industry, and has spoken at many national and international music industry events. He coauthored the online course Legal Aspects of the Music Industry for Berkleemusic.com. As an attorney, he has represented clients in matters of copyright and contracts, and he remains active as a trumpet player in a variety of jazz and commercial settings. Gorder is past president of the NAMM-Affiliated Music Business Institutions, a past officer and board member of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators’ Association, a past trustee with the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston, and currently serves on the Alumni Advisory Council of the Sturm College of Law, University of Denver. He served for fourteen years with the International Association for Jazz Education, as the resource team representative for music business/management.
