ESTHEMA 8:00 PM-12:00 AM Ryles Jazz Club 212 Hampshire Street Cambridge, MA
The Hereness and Nowness of Things CD Release Party presented by Medici Musica featuring Esthema with special guest, COPAL.
Join us on Wednesday, November 25 at Ryles Jazz Club (www.rylesjazz.com) located at 212 Hampshire Street (Inman Square), Cambridge, MA for the release of the new Esthema CD, the Hereness and Nowness of Things.
The evening begins promptly at 8pm with special guests COPAL (www.copalmusic.com).
COPAL inspires audiences with deep dance beats and original melodies rooted in traditions. They create soundscapes with world beats and hip hop styles, interweaving string melodies inspired by Middle Eastern rhythms, dark Nordic melodies, Hungarian riffs, Spanish-flavored cadences and harmonies to paint pictures and landscapes.
Following COPAL, Esthema (www.esthema.com) takes the stage at 9:00 for two sets of music featuring compositions from both, Apart From The Rest and the Hereness and Nowness of Things.
"nothing less than a true celebration of a number of different styles of world beat, jazz, rock, ethnic European and Middle Eastern traditional music. The passion for the music cannot be understated, nor can the sense that these styles can breathe anew in this collection of songs. Though the five musicians themselves hail from different parts of the earth, the global chemistry between them is obvious, like five minds MIDI-linked without latency issues."
- Joel Simches, The Noise - Boston
The cost of the event is $10.00 and it is an 18 plus show. The first 20 people at the door will receive a free CD.
CDs, tshirts, and other merchandise will be on sale (and given away) throughout the evening.
So join us this Thanksgiving-eve along with your family and friends for an evening great food, drink, and music.

The Tough Love Trio returns to the Acton Jazz Cafe!!
Bio:
The Tough Love Trio is comprised of three exceptionally active musicians in the Boston music scene. Their repertoire consists of standard/not-so-standard and contemporary jazz, in the classic lineup of guitar, double bass, and drums.
